Presentation transcript:

 There are two types of deserts, a cold desert and a hot desert.  Who:  The main types of animals that live in a desert are Scorpions, ostriches, Lizards, Camels, Kangaroo rats and snakes  What:  Deserts have little to no rainfall a year, Although some get raging flash floods at regular times during the year. The animals and plants in deserts are specially designed to fit this harsh environments  Why:  Because not many people like the hot desert. Structure can not be used there because of the wild environments.

 Who  The animals that live in the tropical Rain Forest is Alligators, Snakes, Birds, Lizards etc.  The Animals that live in the temperate Rain Forest are Snakes, Birds, Lizards, Bats, spiders, Insects, Turtles etc.  What  What is the unique thing about Rainforests the unique thing is: These incredible places cover only 6 %of the Earth's surface but yet they contain MORE THAN 1/2 of the world's plant and animal species.  When  Rain forests get more than 100mm of rain fall each month.  Why  The rain forests are still where they are because of national parks and and park ranger and Governments.

 Who  There are a variety of birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals, as well as many insects living in the wetlands.  What  The unique things about wetlands are presence of surface water for at least part of the year soils that are uniquely different to those found in adjacent uplands because they are water-logged.  When  in the wetlands it gets more than 150ml a mouth it also rains more than two times a week.  Why  The wetlands are there because the Chinese and the Japanese use them to get there rice.
