What is a transcript? A transcript is a 4 year record of the student’s performance. Every final grade made in high school will be reflected on the student transcript. It will also indicate the student’s class rank and GPA.

HOW IS GPA CALCULATED? GPA is the AVERAGE of the QUALITY POINTS EARNED for all FINAL COURSE GRADES DIVIDED by the NUMBER OF COURSES TAKEN for CREDIT
What is a SKINNY? A SKINNY is a paired 45 minute block class taken all year long that will allow the student to receive instruction in smaller bites. Students will take the final for both classes in the Spring.

Who to contact? First and foremost please contact your child’s teacher. Their s are listed on the Carson webpage. If you need a conference with your child’s teacher contact Ms. Drew in guidance. If you have other issues you should contact your child’s counselor or an administrator.
Drivers Ed.? CHRIS CAUBLE STUDENT MUST BE 14 ½ TO KEEP THEIR PERMIT THEY MUST PASS 3 OF 4 CLASSES
Dress Code Length of skirts and/or shorts should be no more than a dollar bill from the mid-point of the knee. Any shirt must be 2 inches across the shoulder. No holes or tears in shirts or pants. Clothing should not be distracting and no undergarments should be showing.

The Danger of Falling Behind ATTENDANCE – School is not going to stop if your student is not here. CREDIT RECOVERY – If a student fails a class multiple times they may recover it on the computer or may be assigned to take classes at night school.
