NEW INITIATIVES Enhancement of Wheat Production in Eastern UP Through Line Sowing  District covered -27  Operational Area-1.46 lacs ha.  Implements use for line sowing -Ferti Seed Drill / Zero till Seed Drill.  Each Block, 02 Zero-Cum-Seed Drill will Provided – 730 nos.  Subsidy on Seed Drill-Through NFSM  Training is being provided to Stakeholder.

Impact of Technology  Increase in Productivity-03 qtl/ha.  Additional Production in Operational Area – 4.38 lac qtl  Saving in costs of Cultivation-Rs. 2000/ha.  Benefit cost Ratio -5:1  Project Cost-Rs lac  Enable the farmer for Timely Sowing.
