XAT : Test Taking Strategy Start with your strength area Keep a buffer of 5 minutes. Don’t waste time on questions which are lengthy! Keep time limits for DM, RC and DI sets. If a set has 3 questions, then you can at max give about 5 min. Remember, if it is difficulty for you, it may be difficult for everyone too! Since this is paper & pencil, keep a check on your time (carry a watch) You have to use Ball Point Pen (Black/Blue). Carry couple of them. Once you have answered on the OMR, forget that question. Don’t accumulate questions to answer/transfer to OMR. Dangerous Remember cutoffs will be less and hence don’t panic! Absolutely essential!
