Logistics Solutions for the Warfighter2 FORCE PRESERVATION COUNCIL Force Preservation Councils are being conducted monthly All Marines are being evaluated Early intervention will make a difference The program is maturing We will count our successes one Marine at a time

Logistics Solutions for the Warfighter3 WARRIOR PRESERVATION STATUS REPORT (WPSR) LOGCOM Enterprise is the consolidation point for quarterly WPSR entries WPSR areas requiring attention include supervisor safety training and increased emphasis on motorcycle/recreational safety for all personnel

Logistics Solutions for the Warfighter4 SUCCESSES LOGCOM Order Command Safety Policy signed February 2011 MCHQ SD Command Safety Assessment - all findings completed Marine Corps Achievement in Safety Award Maintenance Center Albany LOGCOM Enterprise VPP completely rolled out to include Passport initiative Automated OSHA 300 Log procured and in use Maintenance Center Albany LOGCOM CSA scheduled for Sep – Command CSA’s 100% Marine Corps Logistics Command, Executive Safety Council Charter approved Don’t Be That Guy Program begun at MCLC HQ, MCA, and MCB Command safety awareness training presented at New Employee Orientation

Logistics Solutions for the Warfighter5 INITIATIVE Initiative #1 - Enterprise VPP GAP analyses completed for LOGCOM Enterprise By end of FY12, MCB/MCA/BIC/FSD’S/HQ: – Complete GAP closure – Reduce mishap rates to required rates – Submit VPP application to OSHA Aligns to: – 2011 CG Goals for Command Safety Culture – LOGCOM Strategy III.5: Safety Awareness Program

Logistics Solutions for the Warfighter6 INITIATIVE Initiative #2 - Enterprise Safety Reporting – Consolidation Identified the need for a web-based OSHA record keeping system that was instantly available with the most up to date information available at the user and Enterprise levels. The system selected and currently in use meets these goals and enables all users to enter injury/illness information, produce reports with user-defined criteria, perform trend analysis, and comply with all OSHA regulations. The Enterprise has complete visibility of all subordinate commands injury/illness data with the ability to roll-up data for reporting purposes Calculate Total Case Incident Rate (TCIR) and Days away Restricted Transfer (DART) Automated system costs the Enterprise just over $30 per month Consistent reporting

Logistics Solutions for the Warfighter7 INITIATIVE Initiative #3 - Command Executive Safety Council The LOGCOM Executive Safety Council has been established and will meet quarterly beginning in August/September Establishing the Council with quarterly meetings meets NAVMC , Chapter 4, 4001 requirements Ensures Command involvement and awareness of all safety issues Council will help direct safety efforts and prioritize initiatives throughout the Command Incorporates all of the VPP Steering Committee requirements Action Required: Scheduling/Coordination - LOGCOM Strategy III.1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 - LOGCOM Strategy V.5
