¡Bienvenidos! A la clase de español Can you guess who this is?

Señora Crognale 16th year teaching Spanish Grew up Speaking Spanish. Mom was from Cuba Mom was a Spanish teacher too! My Cuban grandparents are/were a very BIG part of my life Traveled to Spain, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico and last summer…CUBA!!!

Course Objectives To foster a love for Spanish culture and language Prepare students for Spanish II, either regular or honors Finish 3 units (each unit has 2 chapters) Have fun!!!!

Grading 20% Homework (not too much in the beginning, but should expect something every weeknight (no weekends)..\Spanish stamp and grade sheet.doc..\Spanish stamp and grade sheet.doc 25% tests/projects (usually 1 per mp) 35% quizzes (given each Friday) 20% class participation & preparation day/today/spanish.html?utm_media= Sign up for the Spanish word of the day. I accept 5 words per test/quiz for extra credit. It is the student’s responsibility to make up work!!

I took 2 years of Spanish in high school and I can’t remember a thing…how can I help my child! Practice at home daily (review pages at end of each chapter) Make flashcards or go to Be a partner in quizzing of dittos/flashcards Checking that homework is done me anytime and make sure your child sees me after an absence. What can you expect from me? I will prepare materials and activities for class to generate enthusiasm for learning. Develop a relationship with your child.
