Language Immersion in Montpellier, France 2010

Immersion 2010 Hello! Our French Immersion will be in Montpellier this semester. All the students of NUS who have studied at least French 2 module can participate. This Immersion is not sponsorised by CLS and the students have to pay for the whole expenses of their Immersion

Family stay You will be placed in a French family selected by the School. You will have your own room The family will provide breakfast and dinner You can request a Muslim family

WHEN TO GO? YOU CAN START THE LESSONS ANY MONDAY OF MAY AND JUNE. So can leave any date but you need to arrive in Montpellier on Sunday to meet the family where you will live during the 3 weeks of Immersion. On Monday you will pass a placement test to join class according to your level.

The Price of The immersion: 1539 Euros We have negotiated a preferred rate for our group of NUS students including: Three weeks of family stay with breakfast and dinner Three weeks of French language and civilization lessons from Monday to Friday, mornings and afternoons + all pedagogic material. Free internet access in the school (wifi connection) Free pass for all buses and tramway in Montpellier Cultural activities and trips (2 trips of 1 day on Sundays, 3 trips of half a day on Wednesdays)

HOW TO PAY? You pay directly the Montpellier school on line by your (or your parents) credit card,30% of the total amount when you enroll the immersion mtp.com/index.php?id=81&langue=en the payment is secured but please remember to specify that you are a student from NUS to obtain the preferred price.

You will pay the rest of the total amount (70%) to the Montpellier school once you arrive in Montpellier. Payment can be done by Credit Card or by cash (but it is not safe to travel with such a big cash amount in your pocket…)

FLIGHTS TO FRANCE The flight is at your own expense. You can fly to Paris and then take a short flight connection to Montpellier or if you prefer you can reach Montpellier by train. You can find a cheap flight on internet and also check Air France/KLM and Singapore airlines promotions. If you find a very promotional fare please share this information with the other students, so that they can also buy a cheap ticket.
