PKT - Trolleybuses 1. 25% share of public transport in Gdynia. 2. Purchase of 30 trolley buses (whole fleet 72) with Cd-Li (5 km independent distance) and Li-Ion battery (15 km distance) 3. Modernization of old electrical substations (5 substation) 4. Construction of new electrical substations (4 substation) 5. Conversion of old buses into trolley buses (5 per year since 2011) 6. Instalation of supercacapitor in one substation 6. Preparation of Handbook on Conversion in both Polish and English.

Energy Consumption

Trolley Based on the rich experience of all TROLLEY partners the project seeks to unlock the vast potential of trolleybuses to transform transport systems from “fossil mobility” toward “electromobility”. The project is implemented through the CENTRAL EUROPE programme co-financed by the ERDF and runs until the end of January 2013.
