Ally’s commitment to Financial Literacy GMAC launched SmartEdge, a financial literacy program targeting the general public in 2002.

Launch of Ally Wallet Wise The new Ally Wallet Wise program partners grassroots outreach with interactive online training. Program content covers Budget, Credit and Banking & Investing.

Wallet Wise – A closer look Grassroots: In-person workshops Ally provides nonprofits with the curriculum workbooks and presentations for each course topic. The affiliate facilitators must participate in the Wallet Wise training session before teaching the program.

Wallet Wise – A closer look Online destination for Ally Wallet Wise Consumers currently can take courses on Budget, Credit or Banking & Investing. Event calendar of local sessions

Benefits of Ally Wallet Wise Opportunity to connect with the community. Provides consumers with basic financial knowledge so they can make educated decisions about their personal finances. Personal finance can be a very sensitive topic. Ally offers both in-person and online resources. Both options provide consumers with additional information that can be applied to many personal finance challenges, as well as long-term goals.
