Heat loss, U-values and all that stuff. First a bit of Science First Law of Thermodynamics You can’t get more heat out of a closed system than you put.
When drawing your plan, try and add as much detail as you can, labelling different features, such as double glazed windows and cavity walls. Draw two.

TRIPLE GLAZING WINDOWS Triple glazed windows are more energy-efficient than modern double glazing. The thermal insulation benefit is clearly visible through the additional glazing PlatinumNRG Triple Glazing exceeds the thermal efficiency of even an A-Rated window by over 35%. Future-ready U-Value = 0.8 W/m2K Standard float glass first Argon gas-filled cavity ‘Low-E’ Toughened Glass second Argon gas-filled cavity ‘Low-E’ Glass third Glazing flipper

SPRAY FOAM INSULATION Advantages: Blocks airflow by expanding and sealing off leaks. Works as vapor barrier. Can fill wall cavities in finished walls without tearing the walls apart. Provides acoustical insulation. Increases structural stability. Cementitious foam is fireproof. Spray foam insulation is sprayed onto concrete slabs, into wall cavities of an unfinished wall, against the interior side of sheathing, or through holes drilled in sheathing or drywall into the wall cavity of a finished wall. Great U-value.

U-values A U value is a measure of heat loss in a building element such as a wall, floor or roof. Exterior walls: Interior plaster 10mm Concrete 200mm Insulation 150mm Exterior rendering 15mm Total U-value 0.16 W/m²*K Walls of boxes: Plasterboard 12mm Wooden framework with insulation 150mm Wind barrier 13mm Wooden weatherboard 20mm Total U-value 0.15 W/m²*K

Green roof: Interior rendering 15mm Concrete 200mm Insulation 150mm Waterproofing insulation 13mm Green roof (The soil in a green roof does offer some insulation value but is ignored in U-value. Total U-value W/m²*K

Floors: Wooden parquete 3.5mm Concrete 200mm Insulation 150mm Ground Total U-value 0.11 W/m²*K Roofs of boxes: Plasterboard 12mm Wooden framework with insulation 150mm Wooden board 20mm Membrane 40mm Total U-value 0.16 W/m²*K
