My Search Results Prenatal disorders are possible in mothers of all ages. lack of nutrition or not enough exercise can cause the baby stress or a disorder that can affect it later in life. During a pregnancy it is very easy for a mother to eat unhealthy. The more protein a mother eats during her pregnancy the smarter the baby will be when it is older. Women should stay away from any tobacco products and alcohol beverages during their pregnancy.

Many mothers smoke or do other drugs while being pregnant. Every time a mother smokes the baby has a hard time breathing. Mothers that smoke have smaller babies. Cocaine, Crack, and Crystal can cause holes in the babies brain. Mothers that drink heavily during their pregnancy put the baby at risk of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, known as FAS.

FAS happens during the pregnancy but the affects are seen when the baby is born.(facial features) Before, during, and after pregnancy women have their choice on whether or not to have the baby all natural and at home or in the hospital with the safety of knowing there is technology and medication.

My Growth as a Researcher I know how to format an MLA document I know how to use powerlibrary I know how to cite sources correctly I know how to do parenthetical documentation I know how to do a nonlinear powerpoint
