Library Mission Statement Connie Rogers, LIS 748, Spring 2008 The mission of the District 41 Library Learning Center program is to facilitate opportunities that integrate information literacy skills into learning activities, while fostering a love of reading. The LLC program will continually support district and building goals as it delivers the highest quality library media programs and services to the learning community.

About the Collection at Ben Franklin LLC Connie Rogers, LIS 748, Spring 2008 The library holds approximately 14,000 items. Formats collected include books, periodicals, audio books, big books and soft subscriptions. The District provides the Franklin LLC with online resources. Can be accessed off site by students. Franklin LLC Major project growth is not foreseen and this budget is stable. Spending is divided among print items, equipment and non- print subscriptions.
