S.S.R. Please use this time to silently read. If you did not bring a book, find one of mine to read. You MUST be reading!

6 th Period Socratic Seminar Remember, you are in charge of the seminar. I will observe. There is ABSOLUTELY no talking unless you are contributing to the seminar. If you break this rule you will be removed from the seminar and receive a “0” for today’s presentation. Listen carefully, respond thoughtfully, and stay on topic. Use the “Bounce Cards” for help.

6 th Period Socratic Seminar Remember, you are in charge of the seminar. I will observe. Inside circle, the first part of the seminar will last 8 minutes.. You will then have 2 minutes to conference with your partner so that you may get ideas and add more to the discussion. Your discussion will continue for 5 more minutes.
