Your travel agency team has been assigned a world wonder. Your project assignment is to find 10 important facts about your world wonder. Be sure to have a reference page to document where you received your information from. You must have 3 sources (web, book, magazine, etc. No Wikipedia!) Bring in art supplies and a picture of your wonder to decorate your brochure. This can be divided between group members. Next class you will work as a team to select the best images and intriguing facts to include in your brochure. Remember travel brochures are created to persuade people to visit a particular place.

Name of Wonder Image of Wonder (you can include more than one) Location Important Dates Historical or Geographical Importance (one fact per group member) Fun or Interesting Facts A travel quote (i.e. “The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.” Saint Augustine) Come up with a travel agency name and list your travel agents (a.k.a. group member names.)

Your travel agency will be required to present your world wonder destination to the class. Each agent must have a fact to share. Have fun and get creative! How will you persuade the rest of the class that your world wonder is the best? This counts as a project grade. Individual Project – 10 facts and 3 references listed, image of wonder, bring in supplies to decorate brochure Group contributions (are you working diligently), non- disruptive, courteous of peers, presentation (make sure you have required information to share during your presentation.)
