In this PowerPoint you will hear our opinions and some facts about the Neo-Babylonian empire and their achievements. The slides are about the sundial, The Ishtar Gate, and the world wonder the Hanging Gardens.

Sundials can be categorized in several ways: first, some sundials use a direct line of light to indicate the time, where others use the edge of a shadow. In the former case, the spot of light may be formed by allowing the sun's rays through a small hole or reflecting them from a small circular mirror; a line of light may be formed by allowing the rays through a thin slit or focusing them through a cylindrical lens.

The Ishtar Gate was the eighth gate to the inner city of Babylon. It was constructed in about 575 BC by order of King Nebuchadnezzar II on the north side of the city. Dedicated to the Babylonian goddess Ishtar, the gate was constructed of blue glazed tiles with alternating rows of bas-relief sirrush (dragons) and aurochs.

The Hanging Gardens of Babylon is a great Wonder of the World. Was made in 562 B.C.E. In 539 B.C.E a new leader came to Hanging Gardens called Cyrus Whom was the Leader of the Persian Empire

Thank you for watching and remember that this is the empire that was most accomplished. Thank You.
