HOW WORKING TITLE FILMS BECAME A SUBSIDIARY The company was founded by Tim Bevan and Sarah Radclyffe in 1983, Working Title Films started as a independent film company and PolyGram become the companies corporate banker, then Sarah left then a fellow independent film maker called Eric Fellner joined. PolyGram was eventually brought by Seagram and eventually turned into Universal Studios in This then lead to Working Title films becoming a subsidiary to Universal Studios. Since then Working Title Films has gone on to become the most successful British film company.
