Permitting Actions Sequence 1. Levee District is the Permitting Authority 2. Applicant requests permit from local levee district (letter). 3. Joint site visit w/Levee District, Corps & applicant if necessary. 4. Corps provides response and recommendation to Levee District (letter). 5. Levee District approves or denies request. Copy furnished Corps.
Permit Information Required 1. Description of proposed work Discuss proposed activities near levee excavation, utility crossing, ramp, etc. Crossing levee or parallel levee 2. Site Map Quad map showing the location of the proposed Coordinates of work (GPS or Lat. Long.) Section, Township, Range 3. Plan Sheet Plan view of proposed work with dimensions from levee 4. Profile Sheet Cross section view of work with dimensions from levee.
