NEXT A tractor means: A vehicle that has a powerful petrol or diesel motor and varies in size, horsepower, transmission and drive types. It is usually used for pulling farm implements or machinery. Tractors are used in agriculture, horticulture, viticulture, landscaping, gardening, green keeping and in a variety of other industrial applications. They are a major cause of injury and death from farming accidents. The tractor can be either 2 wheel drive, front wheel assist or 4 wheel drive. The tractor can be used for a wide range of operations such as pulling farm implements, slashing grass or towing spray units.
