SUSTAIN EU-ASEAN will make available via its website a TOOLKIT supporting researchers who want to engage in ASEAN-EU research collaboration in environemt research areas up-to-date information on current examples and practices for cooperation (projects, partners involved, etc.), analyses (on the funding environment, etc.), etc. A particularly relevant part of SUSTAIN’s toolkit for strategic and sustainable environmental research cooperation will be the establishment of a database of: funding opportunities as well as institutions and experts relevant for ASEAN-EU environment research. Get involved! 7 October Toolkit

Finally, SUSTAIN EU-ASEAN will also work towards the identification of future opportunities for joint ASEAN-EU research and innovation in environment-related areas. A stakeholder discussion process will be started in 2015 that builds on the current analyses on existing cooperation and gaps in funding and that includes considerations on future needs and priorities. Although the outcome of this exercise will be directed at the funding and policy level, the dialogue with researchers is essential. We will be in touch! 7 October Future
