The Key to the Successful Implementation of FRMS is to change the Mental Model on Fatigue Mental models begin with long held personal beliefs, we define as a value or primary belief Primary Beliefs are vital to us = Life/Operational Experience (Data + cultural and personal) we structure our assumptions based on these meanings The challenge, with FRMS is to changing our primary (conclusion + beliefs = values ) Mental Models, BLOCK Intellectual Beliefs Mental Models

Our Challenge Initial Education is Fundamental: Buy- in required from: CEOs and senior management Regulators/inspectors Flight Crews

OUR PRIORITY Sound clear Prescriptive Regulations based on Science and Operational Experience. Tripartite - Collaborative relationship between the Regulator, Industry and Professional Associations. Adoption of the FRMS Operators Manual
