Interactive Whiteboards A new type of board

Introduction With the surge of new technology available to use in your classroom, it could leave one very confused about what is the best tool for your students. The Interactive Whiteboard (IWB), is one of these new technologies, IWB’s are increasingly becoming more visible in American classrooms. But what is the true value of these boards in the learning process? The following web quest is designed to try and answer these questions. Task Your Principal has just informed you that he has extra money in his yearly budget. He has come to you wanting to get your opinion on interactive whiteboards. Your principal has asked for your help to determine if he should purchase a board for your school, and what type of board he should purchase.  Your task is two fold:  Determine if your school should purchase an interactive board.  Determine the type of interactive whiteboard that should be purchased.
