Superbowl XLIV

Marketing-information Management Super Bowl XLIV hosted the New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts. Because of all the city had been through in the past few years, the super bowl turn out was expected to be higher than normal. Fans wanted to see New Orleans succeed in the super bowl.

Product Service/Management Because New Orleans won, possibly more money was made than if the Colts had won. This is because the Saints probably sold more products because of everything the city had been through. The stadium had enough space to acquire up to 130,000 people.

Financing The super bowl made a very large profit.

Pricing Most expensive Super Bowl 44 item for sale: Luxury Suite for $325,727 Most expensive Super Bowl 44 ticket for sale: Tickets in Lower Premium 142 section for $12,224 each Least expensive Super Bowl 44 ticket for sale: Tickets in Upper End Zone for $1,740 each

Promotion The super bowl is a huge event for advertisers. This is because it is known for the new commercials that are aired during the super bowl. Companies would spend $3 million for 30 seconds of air time. A good example of this would be Coca-Cola.

Selling Every beverage or food item that was sold at the super bowl was considered a part of selling. Every item of apparel that was sold prior to, during, or after the super bowl is considered a part of selling as well.

Distribution There are many different ways of distribution during the super bowl, but the main form is the distribution of the goods to all of the stores worldwide of the super bowl apparel.
