Sumarian civilization is one of the oldest civilizations

Tigris and Euphrates rivers

Sumerians created the first irrigation system

The Sumerians built their villages on artificial mounds to protect them from floods

Nile River God, Hapi

Created the sail boat for trade along the rivers.

Sumerians used clay to build their cities and houses.
