  In article groups: 1.Complete reading your article. 2.Review it again, highlight/underline information that relate to the environment. 3.Circle words you don’t know. 4.Find the definition to the words you don’t know. 5.Discuss what you have read. 6.How is this related to Environmental Issues?   Please return to your seats.  You are working in groups of 3-4 people you are sitting with.  Ms. M will direct you.  Share what you learned from the different articles you all read.  Take notes on pg. 56 of SIN. Environmental Project

  You will be working in groups to create a project involving the environment.  Your handouts explain the project.  Tells discuss the:  Tic-Tac-Toe  RAFT  Rubric – Add to sources:  Only sources you may use are articles and the database.  No internet sources are to be used.  China Revved Up Film should be source (only none printed sources) Environmental Project

  In your groups: 1.Review the RAFT. 2.Pick your project:  Remember to discuss the articles.  Circle your choices on one of the RAFT Sheets. 3.Assign research and project responsibilities on the group contract. 4.Every group member must sign the contract. 5.Put contract and circled RAFT in folder.   Start working on your research for the project:  Review articles picking out good data/information  Look at other National Geographic Articles.  Use books in Ms. M’s Library.  Keep information in your folders, which I will collect at the end of each class. Environmental Project
