RAPsheet  What does the acronym RAP stand for?  Record of Arrests and Prosecutions.  What does the acronym III stand for?  Interstate Identification Index.  What is criminal history based on?  Fingerprints.  Where does the information come from?  Criminal justice agencies.  What does the acronym WASIS stand for?  Washington State Identification System.

What is STATE/FBI CHR? What is STATE/FBI CHR?  The CHR consists of information submitted by local, state, and federal agencies.  The state and FBI record consists of information attributed to the person.  Demographic.  Arrests/dispositions.  DOC.  Sex/kidnapping offender registrations.  Applicant.

Purpose of STATE/FBI CHR Purpose of STATE/FBI CHR  The CHR is used for the following purposes.  Law enforcement.  Assessing risk.  Identifying wants and warrants.  Location within a jail/prison facility.  Court purposes.  Making sentencing decisions, bail or bond decisions.  For businesses/organizations or public.  Employment.  Licensing.  Housing, etc.
