Name: Ivor Goodsite Company: Goodsite Construction Job: Site Manager Skills: Environmentally aware Trained first aider September 20113
There are lots of good things about working in the construction industry, but Ivor knows that it can be a dangerous place for both children and adults. Ivor wants to make sure that everyone is aware of the dangers on a building site and so he regularly spends time visiting schools to talk about how to remain safe. Safety is the most important thing to Ivor, which is why you are going to learn about building site safety today. September 20114

September We would now like you to design a poster about something you have learnt today. You could draw: Site machinery Protective clothing Ivor Goodsite Dangers on site
Ivor knows that: You should always be aware of construction sites around your neighbourhood and the dangers inside. If you would like to know more about any building work in your area, you must make sure you ask a responsible adult to help you find out, instead of trying to find out yourself. You must always read and follow safety signs – they are there to keep YOU safe! You should NEVER enter a building site without a responsible adult and the correct protective clothing. X September
