PowerUP Your Life Week Four Worship

THE POWER OF ONE The power of One, one life committed until the race is run,

The power of One, one heart that’s beating to glorify the Son.

With power received from the Spirit of God we will carry the story of Christ and His love,

God changed the world through the life of His Son, and saved through the power of One.

I love to tell the story of unseen things above. of Jesus and His glory, of Jesus and His love.

I love to tell the story because I know ‘tis true, it satisfies my longings as nothing else can do.

I love to tell the story, twill be my theme in glory to tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love.

The power of One, one life committed until the race is run,

The power of One, one heart that’s beating to glorify the Son.

With power received from the Spirit of God we will carry the story of Christ and His love,

God changed the world through the life of His Son, and saved through the power of One.

At Calvary

Years I spent in vanity and pride, caring not my Lord was crucified, knowing not it was for me He died on Calvary ;

By God’s Word at last my sin I learned Then I trembled at the law I’d spurned Till my guilty soul imploring turned to Calvary

Mercy there was great, and grace was free Pardon there was multiplied to me There my burdened soul found liberty at Calvary

Now I’ve giv’n to Jesus ev’rything, Now I gladly own Him as my King Now my raptured soul can only sing of Calvary

Mercy there was great, and grace was free Pardon there was multiplied to me There my burdened soul found liberty at Calvary

Oh, the love that drew salvation’s plan! Oh, the grace that brought it down to man! Oh, the mighty gulf that God did span at Calvary

Mercy there was great, and grace was free Pardon there was multiplied to me There my burdened soul found liberty at Calvary

THE WONDERFUL CROSS When I survey the wondrous cross on which the Prince of glory died, my richest gain I count but loss, and pour contempt on all my pride.

See from His head, His hands, His feet, sorrow and love flow mingled down.

Did e’er such love and sorrow meet, Or thorns compose so rich a crown?

Oh, the wonderful cross, oh, the wonderful cross bids me come and die and find that I may truly live.

Oh, the wonderful cross, oh, the wonderful cross, all who gather here by grace draw near and bless Your Name.

Were the whole realm of nature mine that were an offering far too small;

Love so amazing, so divine demands my soul, my life, my all.

Oh, the wonderful cross, oh, the wonderful cross bids me come and die and find that I may truly live.

Oh, the wonderful cross, oh, the wonderful cross, all who gather here by grace draw near and bless Your Name.

ONCE AGAIN Jesus Christ, I think upon Your sacrifice, You became nothing poured out to death.

Many times, I wondered at Your gift of life and I’m in that place once again, I’m in that place once again.

And once again I look upon the cross where You died, I’m humbled by Your mercy and I’m broken inside.

Once again I thank You, once again I pour out my life.

Now You are exalted to the highest place, King of the heavens where one day I’ll bow.

But for now I marvel at this saving grace, and I’m full of praise once again, I’m full of praise once again.

And once again I look upon the cross where You died, I’m humbled by Your mercy and I’m broken inside.

Once again I thank You, once again I pour out my life.

Thank You for the cross, thank You for the cross, thank You for the cross, my Friend, Thank You for the cross, thank You for the cross, thank You for the cross, my Friend. (REPEAT)

And once again I look upon the cross where You died, I’m humbled by Your mercy and I’m broken inside.

Once again I thank You, once again I pour out my life.

I SURRENDER ALL All to Jesus, I surrender, all to Him I freely give. I will ever love and trust Him, in His presence, daily live.

I surrender all, I surrender all. All to Thee my blessed Savior, I surrender all.

All to Jesus I surrender, make me, Savior, wholly Thine. Let me feel Thy Holy Spirit, truly know that Thou art mine.

I surrender all, I surrender all. All to Thee my blessed Savior, I surrender all.

All to Jesus I surrender, Lord, I give myself to Thee; fill me with Thy love and power, let Thy blessing fall on me.

I surrender all, I surrender all. All to Thee my blessed Savior, I surrender all.
