What are two signs for the concept of “TALL?”

Trees, buildings and people can all be described with the index finger version of tall. The bent hand version is generally used for just people or horses.

Which version of tall would you use to describe these trees?

Note: The concept: TALL (version) can also be used to mean ADULT
