Mission: The Center for Ocean Solutions works to solve the major problems facing the ocean and prepares leaders to take on these challenges. 2) Communicate and Engage Our Audiences Biophysical and Social Context Local, Regional Impacts 1) Understand Trainings, Workshops, Synthesis Practitioner, Academic Articles Easy to Understand Reports 3) Help Implement Solutions Condition the Decision Making Climate for Solution Uptake Help Implement Solutions Leverage Solutions Action Knowledge

Innovate Generate creative ideas through effective brainstorming. Develop a theory of change for a specific intervention. Identify successful examples and critical behaviors for desired change Identify key situations and habits that, once tweaked, will promote desired change Collaborate Apply key persuasion techniques. Recognize and practice specific behaviors for effective team work. Apply the collective impact approach to collaboration. Document lessons learned from at least three mentors. Develop strong personal and professional connections with other course participants. Communicate Describe, recognize, and use four different styles of thinking.
