What Is a Strategic Plan?

SIA Strategic Plan Our federation’s year big goal is to increase our collective impact, which means members, clubs, regions, board and staff: strengthen our organization (increased) by working together, (collective) providing women and girls with access to education and training to make a sustainable and measurable difference in their lives. (impact)

Club Road Map & Region Strategic Plan Working Together to Increase Our Collective Impact

Club Road Map: Program Participate in our Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women (formerly the Women’s Opportunity Awards). Increase the impact for your local recipients of our Live Your Dream Awards by providing support beyond a cash award. Include Live Your Dream at-large applications in your club-level judging. Plan to participate in our new Girl Program: Dream It, Be It using the Club Planning Toolkit and report on your plans. Examine existing club projects to ensure they are in line with our mission to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.

Club Road Map: Membership Focus on recruiting new members into your club. Start up new clubs. Create a happy and healthy club experience. Use your SIA-created club address. Attend at least one region event a year. Provide personal addresses to SIA headquarters.

SAR Strategic Plan: Membership Establish SAR Membership Council (Committee) SAR Clubs designate one member to respond to requests from SAR Membership Council. Get on the MemberSHIP! SAR clubs participate fully in Everyone – Bring one Campaign. Each SAR club would set their unique retention goal, which they share with SAR Membership Council, and meet it. Using SIA’s membership study, Membership Council would work towards a toolkit for getting and maintain members.
