New League Format Creates a 2 Tiered Club Structure ◦ National Leagues Teams Higher level of competition Committed Players More games, more training Excellence Level ◦ Competitive League Teams Fewer playing/training options Invitational Tournaments and Local club games Option to participate in Florida Invitational Fitness, Team Work Developmental Level
Training ◦ National Leagues Teams Practices are 4 to 5 times/week Practices are 1.5 to 2.0 hours long Morning practices Additional Dry Land Training Monthly Schedule should be a set schedule Sport Psychologist and Nutritionist (in discussion) Referee Clinic (planned) Attendance taken for all practices

Team Sponsorship/Fundraising ◦ You are encouraged to organize and participate ◦ Team Sponsorship would help fund the whole team Must follow WPC and WPQ restrictions/guidelines Must be approved by DDO Water Polo ◦ Fundraising helps the individual player Helps fund the participants Based upon the families contribution Paid directly into the player’s account
Costs ◦ Costs based upon best knowledge at the time No schedule from WPC No League Participants At Time Based upon 13 player roster Responsible for 1 referee ◦ Some costs are to be borne by all participants ◦ Some costs have flexibility But still come with a commitment cost Team needs to stand behind commitment ◦ Modelled as Worst Case Scenario
