Review Key Terms using the Flashcards in My Humanities Kit (link under Unit 2 tab). Discussion 50 pts. Participate in discussion (link under Unit 2 tab). Answer the discussion question (two “meaty” paragraphs each) AND respond to two students question (one “meaty” paragraph each). SEE RUBRIC! Part I: Art Analyze a piece of architecture from your community Part II: Architecture Analyze a work of art from your community Civic art, sculpture, an image in your home Graffiti Street performance, etc. 1.Be sure to follow the directions carefully!! 2.Please limit to at or slightly over 750 words. 3.Use the example paper as your template! 4.Include an intro & conclusion! 5.Be sure to explain detail! 6.Apply concepts from Chapter 4! 7.NO LATE WORK!
Grade:Grading Criteria A: points Shoot for this! Essay demonstrates ability to express and evaluate values and terms of art or architecture. Project explains the purpose of art to the individual and its universal appeal. Project uses vocabulary terms from the unit. Project is clearly written—minimal grammatical, mechanical, and formatting errors. Project meets posted length requirements—and follows directions.
