There are three tourist facilities: Kaludjerske Bare, Predov krst and Mitrovac. Tara is famous for its dense forests, including the rare Pancic Spruce, and it is full of wild animals and meadicinal herbs. Also popular is the river Drina gorge, especially with fisherman and lovers of untouched nature who enjoy rafting.

In this monastery from the 14 th century the family tree of the Nemanjić dynasty was painted, with 16 portraits. You can see a lot of icons there, with the oldest one of Christ the Merciful from the 14 th century.
