8/30/15Mrs. Kennedy2 Grades: 9- week Grades: Total points earned/total possible  100 pts for Tests/Projects  4 Points for Daily Assignments  2 Points per day for daily start-up problems  Points for other quizzes/Labs  A District Level END-OF-COURSE exam is required in Pre Calculus.  For Algebra 2, a computer based FSA is required & will be 30% of the course grade.

SAFETY NETS:  Students are required to keep a classroom notebook/journal which should include: ① Dated class notes with examples should be included daily ② Assignments with work all shown and/or questions noted. (All solutions to the odd numbered problems should be checked in the back of the text book.) ③ The work for all MathXL assignments.  Students are encouraged to take advantage of the web-based resources throughout the course. Peer Tutoring Starting Dates and Times T.B.A.  NHS will be offering peer tutoring.  MATH ON MONDAYS! Mu Alpha Theta students will also provide peer tutoring, specifically for math.  Pre Calculus Students who have achieved a “B” average, or higher, in all math courses should consider applying for the National Math Honor Society, MU ALPHA THETA.
