MA10 ACCELERATED PRE-ALGEBRA COURSE DESCRIPTION

GRADING POLICY 90%-100% = A 80%-89% = B 70%-79% = C 60%-69% = D 59% and below = F Based on total points possible from tests, quizzes, homework, and daily participation (polls, warm-ups, in class participation, and closure questions).

ABSENCE POLICY Students will be responsible for any work or lessons missed due to an absence. All lessons will be archived and available through the Virtual MA10 website.

DAILY ROUTINE 1.Log into Edmodo a. Upload homework to Edmodo if you have not already done so. b. Complete daily poll (if available). c. Complete warm–up questions. 2.Click link to gotomeeting.com 3.Participate in daily lesson by taking notes in spiral notebook and actively contributing to the discussion. 4.Begin homework (if any). 5.Complete closure activity. 6.Logout of gotomeeting.com and Edmodo at the end of the class.

GRADEBOOK Grades will be updated on Edmodo’s progress tab in real time. Information on every assignment, including any missing work, will be noted in this area. Please check the grade often throughout the year and contact either teacher with any questions.
