Individualism and Creativity Anthem Projects Individualism and Creativity

Project #1 Create a map of the city that Equality lives in. Show the location of all areas mentioned including “Home of..” Include rivers, streams, and the boundaries of the Uncharted Forest. Show scale and direction.

Project #2 Construct a flag for Equality’s state. It should be made of cloth. The design needs to reflect the philosophy of government portrayed in Anthem. Flag should also have a motto. (See Anthem)

Project #3 Create a constitution for the new society that Equality and his family and friends will establish. Look at the constitution of the United States for format and ideas. Create a Bill of Rights as an addition to the Constitution.

Project #4 Write an anthem (song) for Equality’s state. You may write original music or set it to a familiar tune. You must perform the anthem in front of the class or record it and play it back.

Project #5 Produce a soundtrack for Anthem the movie. Burn at least 6 tracks on a cd. These must relate to scenes in Anthem and must be in chronological order. Design a cd cover and add song titles, artists, summaries and or biographies.

Project # 6 Write and perform ( on tape or CD) an original song inspired by Anthem and relevant to life today. Type lyrics and have copies for each student in your class. Design a CD Cover for your song.

Project #7 Write Direct Film the movie Anthem The movie will be played for the class.

Project # 8 Create“Missing Persons” posters for both Equality and Liberty. These should be 11x14 They must be on poster board or good drawing paper. Accurate description and drawing are requirements.
