Goals For Today Meet the team and learning community members (10 Min) Develop a common understanding of the goals and activities involved in the sySTEM learning community (10 Min) Understand the roles and responsibilities of MOST and sySTEM members (10 Min) Review calendar and timeline (5 Min) Q & A(10 Min)

+ Meet the Team & Community MOST Staff Introductions Round Robin – Name, Organization, County STEM Identity Exercise

+ Goals of sySTEM Increase afterschool program staff confidence in implementing STEM; Support increased quality of existing afterschool STEM learning; Expand the number of afterschool programs offering high quality STEM; and Measure the impact of participation in afterschool STEM on youth engagement with STEM learning

+ Activities NEW: Curriculum Selection & Implementation Youth & Staff Pre-post Surveys (Common Instrument) Training on Curricula and STEM Practices Program Quality Observation (DoS) Coaching & Technical Assistance Sharing Ideas, Experience & Learning

+ Site Roles & Responsibilities Clearly identify point of contact(s) Sign MOU (modifications can be made) Identify start and end dates Provide access for surveys and observations Send appropriate staff to trainings Call for questions and help Share data (where possible), stories and experiences

+ MOST’s Role Provide general information to main contacts Collect survey data by recommended protocol and share data with sites NEW: Support curriculum selection/partner matchmaking Coordinate training NEW: Purchase/deliver materials Conduct Dimensions of Success Program Observations and share data with sites Provide technical assistance on request Share sySTEM stories and learning with broader community
