Web Validation HOW CAN YOU TELL A WEB SITE IS VALID?

Examining the actual web address, or URL- check the domain, a three letter suffix in the URL to see what type of site it is. Example: ~wood/edwebsites.htmhttp:// ~wood/edwebsites.htm

Most educational websites… End with an.edu edu networking ("education") The top-level domain for educational establishments in the USA (and some other countries). E.g. "mit.edu". The UK equivalent is "ac.uk".top-level domain =eduhttp://dictionary.reference.com/search?q =edu
