New from USDA Equipment List USDA Memo SP State Agency prior approval for equipment purchases over $5000 State Agency must “implement debt collection procedures” for any unallowable purchases

New from USDA Equipment List, 2 OCN worked with vendors to identify products Developed a list of over 100 pre- approved items On the OCN website under “What’s New”

New from USDA Property Management Property management will be a new area of review and focus No guidance or instructions have been issued Be sure to follow district policy Purchases Disposal Equipment tags Inventory list

Additional USDA Waivers Concerns over plate waste, increased cost and loss of participation USDA continues to make adjustments to the meal pattern Ex: Whole grain waiver for pasta Any additional changes will be communicated as USDA releases information
