Spiritual Evolution of the Mystical Spiritualist Church Ethel Rowe loved to celebrate spirit with music and dance, as she was full of life. She always felt that Spiritualism is a living energy and thus needs to continue to grow and change in order to be applicable to life, as it is today and tomorrow. This new Mystical Spiritualist Church is continuing to apply her values and teachings and even expand on them. Ethel believed that many churches need to come into the 21st Century and not continue to be "stuck" in the 18 th, 19th and 20th Centuries where they came from. Thus, we are continuing that ideal and are purposely not affiliated with any other church so that we are not held back or down by their doctrines, dogma or "old baggage".

How did the Logo for the Mystical Spiritualist Church Come About? This was the logo that Reverend Ethel Rowe ( ) had a dream about as she founded the Mystical United Spiritualist Church of Anaheim in The logo used by this Church was inspired by the one above. Thus, both logos incorporate the Ankh and two 7 pointed stars in much the same way.

How did the Logo for the Mystical Spiritualist Church Come about?

Elements of The Infinite in the Mystical Spiritualist Church Logo The Background of our Logo: The "Sky" used as a background shows Light shining into all realms of consciousness – even into so-called "darkness", beyond the bounds of our present concepts, awareness and universe. Light dissolving darkness. This symbolizes the presence of God, beyond earth, body and mind. GOD IS everywhere, throughout the Multiverses. “Where ever you are I AM there ” “Where ever you are I AM there ”

Elements from Heaven in the Mystical Spiritualist Church Logo Light Elements in our Logo: The Star –The star of man, with 5 points, represents the five founders and their dedication to the light and love that Ethel Rowe spread during her life as she spread the Spiritualist Gospel of Everlasting Life. Placement near the top of the symbol represents Ethel's position, since her transition; with a broader view of life. The Sun – at the center (in the loop of the Ankh) represents Divine Light shining within, around and throughout life itself, nourishing and brightening all existence. It is the light that shines within each one of us as well.

The Ankh in the Mystical Spiritualist Church Logo Love in our Logo: The Ankh or Chai – The Sign of Eternal Life, Light & Love comes from the Ancient Atlantian, Egyptian and Hebrew Cultures. According to the oral teachings of the Mystical Prophets of the Torah, this is "Chai“; the symbol of the Eternal Life of the Creator within all existence, as connected through the soul of Adam Kadmon (first human) as with each and every individual human personality created, past, present, and future. All are sitting in At-One-Ment on the Throne of Immortal Bliss, even right now since there is no time on that level and we are always intimately connected to that level as our Higher Selves. This love never dies no matter what thus LIVES ARE ETERNAL.

More Stars in our Mystical Spiritualist Church Logo The Inner 7 pointed Star – represents the pure light that is the inner spiritual prompting of the soul for expansion and growth. This star and its light lives within all life. The Outer 7 pointed Star – represents the way the inner light expands into materiality, as seen in the 7 days and colors of the chakras, each one being its own light and energy and yet not taking anything away from the others. As the 7 colors recombine they create the white light again and again, forever.

More Light in the Mystical Spiritualist Church Logo Light has burst forth to reveal all that is, was and ever shall be. This is the light of increasing conscious awareness. Some call it “The Big Bang”. The 12 rays of light – represent the 12 aspects of humanity mentioned in the ageless teachings of the Masters. Thus you find a history of humanity that includes 12 tribes, 12 disciples, 12 days of Christmas and 12 months through the complete turn of the zodiac.

To the Sides of the Mystical Spiritualist Church Logo The Feathers of Dichotomy and Unity: Being similar, yet different, these feathers symbolize unity within diversity. The American Indians felt that the feather was a connection to wisdoms from above and beyond. This church was formed on the North American Continent where these peoples lived; thus the feathers are also red, white and blue for “freedom and flight of soul”. In ancient Egypt, the feather was the symbol of truth. Placed, one on either side in our logo, gives balance, as they also stand as a gateway to understanding.

So that each may realize that they too have a little bit of "the other" within their own selves and EACH AND EVERY THING, SEEN OR UNSEEN, IS PART OF LIFE. LIGHT, LOVE, INSPIRATION & TRUTH of GOD
