College Communications

2 Today’s Objectives Share overview of the College Communications unit, including staffing, priorities and decision-making processes. Review major initiatives for Update on College branding, new resources and how faculty and staff access support and assistance. Share current plans for social media campaigns and how faculty and staff may engage.

3 Communications Staffing 31 professional staff with expertise in marketing, design, editing, writing, web development, video production, project management, training, social media, digital photography, IP video integration, and various support services. 4-5 students are employed each semester to support general office operations, web development and classroom monitoring. Operate two income generating sub-units: publication sales and distribution (Columbus) and digital copy center (Wooster).

5 Priorities Develop, support and implement strategies that advance the college priorities related to teaching, research and extension. Focus on recruiting world-class faculty, staff and students. Reinforce the power of our educational product. Create the research and learning spaces of tomorrow. Build a sustainable support system to enable academic success. Engage our alumni, friends and partners to help achieve our goals. Create and support a more consistent and compelling message.
