UW-Madison Health Insurance Mandates Non-immigrant visa holders and their visa dependents must comply with the UW-Madison insurance requirements which meet or exceed the Federal and Wisconsin State insurance requirements UW-Madison requires that all non-immigrant visa holders and their visa dependents holders purchase SHIP or waive with qualifying insurance No travel insurance plans or private policies will be accepted

HOW TO USE SHIP & UHS

How to use SHIP: 1. Must use University Health Services for all available primary and preventive care services 2. “ In-Network” providers are available for instances when UHS is closed or unable to provide necessary services 3. Click “Find ‘In-Network’ Providers on the SHIP website and contact our office if you experience any difficulties
