SAN LOUIS OBISPO MISSION 5 By: James

History of the mission It was founded by Jonaparo Sara. It was founded in 1772.

Daily life padres did holy work, Indians did farm work, and soldiers got and brought Indians to the mission

Special features Some buildings are barns, houses for metal work, and a church. They used the barn for storing food. They used the church for holy work.

Historic highlights There was a drought but Indians helped get and traded food. They were the first to introduce the roof tiles. They also helped to make roofs that do not burn

Mission today My mission is not being used but you are able to visit it and look around and check it out it does not look the same as it first did in 1772
