Creating a sporting habit for life 2 Quick refresh and update on satellite clubs. A chance to identify challenges and solutions around delivery. Share and discuss satellite clubs good practice with colleagues. Outcomes

Creating a sporting habit for life 4 Satellite clubs Increase the number of year olds playing sport regularly (1x30). Reduce the number of young people choosing not to play sport. Make it easier for young people to stay in sport or start playing sport for the first time. Provide a stepping stone to community sport. Increase the capacity of community clubs to cope with demand and/or broaden the scope of what a club can offer. By 2017 we aim to have at least 5,000 satellite clubs in place.
