A PESENTATION ON WIND ENERGY GENERATION BY S.P.S.NEEMRANA SE(E)

WIND ENERGY GENERATION The Wind Electrical Generator (WEG) can be installed only in wind potential area. Govt. of India has given incentives -  80% depreciation in the first year (Commissioned before September end)  40% depreciation in the first year (Commissioned before March end)

WIND ENERGY GENERATION  10 year tax holiday on income from wind power. Power generated can be 'banked' with the TNEB's grid and the same can be used for consumption at a later date, as specified by the SEB (One year Maximum). Power generated can be 'wheeled' through TNEB's grid and the same can be consumed captive any where in the state (Wheeling charges 5%). Power generated can be sold to Rs 2.90 per unit. Finance from the banks is available upto 80% of the project cost.

SALIENT FEATURES-VESTA VESTA RRB Indo-Danish joint venture for manufacture of wind electric generators. Microprocessor based fully automatic control system. Integrated power transmission mechanism. ISO 9001:2000 Certification for manufacture, installation and servicing of WEGs from DNV.

First WEG in India to receive the type approval certificate from C-WET (Centre for wind energy technology), an autonomous body offers the pitch regulated WEGs. This feature allows the blades to pivot along their longitudinal axis. As the wind velocity increases, the surface against the wind decreases

SALIENT FEATURES- SUZLON SUZLON R & D at Suzlon Energy GmBh Germany for Wind energy converters & AE - Rotor Technical BV Netherlands for rotor blades. Minimum stress and load through well balanced weight distribution. Advanced hydrodynamic fluid coupling absorbs load peaks

Hi-speed asynchronous generator with multi stage intelligent switching compensation system delivers power factor up to 0.99 Grid friendly design generates harmonics free pure sinusoidal power Unmatched fine pitching with 0.1 degree resolution to extract every possible unit of power
