Name of Museum In 1922 Howard Carter the British Egyptologist discovered a four room tomb that held 5,000 items. King Tuts tomb had 5,00 items in his tomb. His tomb was four rooms. Howard Carter discovered Tut's tomb in the valley of the kings in king Tut was born in 1342 BC to 1324 BC. He was discovered in He ruled for nine years 1332 to 1323 BC. King tuts tomb is in Egypt in the Valley of the kings. King tut is the owner of the tomb with 5,00 items in four tomb room. Those were foot deformities, cleft palate, a birth defect, marked by a split in the mouth, malaria, and a broken leg. It is a note on the handle of the kings fan that indicated that the young tut hunted heliopolis, near modern Cairo. The last piece of art is the alabaster chalice. Howard Carter called it the wishing cup because the inscription on it contains a wish for tuts eternal happiness.
