The non techy interpretation – If your website is not Mobile Friendly, it will not rank on even index on Mobile Devices Mobile traffic is growing, and mobile search is growing This is going to be a major update, so this isn’t something you can ignore If your site has a poor mobile experience (for smart phones and/or tablets), you could be throwing away conversions, and fixing it could be a massive opportunity for your business

Mobile search is growing over 400% year over year Mobile internet use has now taken over as the number one access portal (54% as of October 2014) Is your website Mobile Friendly?

The first thing you need to do is find out if you have a problem Google has provided a tool for you to check

If your site is NOT Mobile Friendly – The tool will tell you why and how to fix it

If you have a site built by a programmer, contact them WordPress – Most themes are Mobile Friendly already, if your site is NOT change to a theme that is “responsive” Weebly – Your site is Mobile Ready – You can edit the mobile view as well

In the USA – 94% of people with smartphones search for local information on their phones Interestingly, 77% of mobile searches occur at home or at work, places where desktop computers are likely to be present Mobile is critical to your business and will continue to be so Make sure visitors can have a good experience on your site when they’re visiting from their mobile devices
