The Society of Critical Care Medicine is devoted to propagating the concept of multidisciplinary practice and education among all clinicians and caregivers of the acutely ill patient regardless of the venue.

Rapid Response Systems SCCM Initiatives

Rapid Response Systems  SCCM aligned with the IHI, AMA, JCAHO, and the AAMC to promote the development of rapid response systems in hospitals.  SCCM established a task force on Medical Emergency Teams in  SCCM website for members to share information on national and international RRS.
