Select one of the following and write a paragraph about it. Can you think of a situation when people act jealously and meanly when something good happens to someone else? Explain. Can you think of a situation when people are never satisfied with the simple joys of life? Explain. Can you think of a situation when people always claim to know what should be done but never risk anything to do it? Explain.

Characteristics of Fables Characters are usually animals who are personified (act like humans) 3 purposes of fables –To entertain (by having animals talk) –To inform (by teaching lessons) –To influence/persuade people to change their behavior
