Candidate Selection Processes Model One: Selection by National Party Leadership with no input from Local Party Organizations Model Two: Selection by the Local Party Organization, contingent upon approval by the National Party Leadership Model Three: Selection by the Local Party Organization with full authority and no approval necessary by the National Party Leadership Model Four: Selection by the total Party Membership Model Five: Selection by the entire Electorate
